Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CrackleKing website and mobile applications (the "Service"). By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

What we are

CrackleKing is a marketplace that connects firewood buyers with independent local firewood providers. CrackleKing is not the seller of firewood; the provider you order from is the seller, and they are responsible for the quality, quantity, sourcing, and delivery of the firewood. Pricing, availability, and lead times are set by the provider.

Accounts

• You must be at least 18 to create an account or place an order.
• You are responsible for the activity on your account; keep your password safe.
• Provide accurate information. We may suspend accounts that contain false information.

Orders, payments, and refunds

• When you place an order, you authorize CrackleKing (via our payment processor, Stripe) to charge your payment method for the order total displayed at checkout.
• We may charge a platform fee that is included in the displayed total.
• If a provider cannot fulfill an order, we will refund the order in full to your original payment method.
• For disputes or quality issues, contact us first at support@crackleking.com. We mediate between buyers and providers and refund or partial refund as appropriate.

Provider obligations

Providers using the Service represent that they have the legal right to sell firewood in their service area, comply with local quarantine and origin-of-wood rules, and accurately describe what they sell. Providers receive payouts via Stripe Connect, subject to Stripe's terms.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service to defraud, harass, or harm others.
• Do not scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service.
• Do not use the Service to circumvent transactions — for example, contacting a provider directly to avoid platform fees after discovering them through the Service.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." CrackleKing does not warrant the quality of any firewood you receive (that is between you and the provider). To the extent permitted by law, CrackleKing disclaims all implied warranties.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CrackleKing's aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid CrackleKing in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $100.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the Service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
