Privacy Policy

CrackleKing ("we", "us") operates the CrackleKing website at crackleking.com and the CrackleKing mobile applications for iOS and Android (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and optional name and phone number.
- Order information. When you place an order we collect your delivery address, delivery instructions, the items ordered, and payment metadata (we never store full payment card numbers — those are handled by Stripe).
- Location. If you grant location permission in the mobile app, we use your coarse location to show nearby firewood providers. You can revoke this at any time in your device settings.
- Device and usage data. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) and crash reports. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.
- Inquiry data. When you contact an unclaimed provider via our inquiry form, your contact information stays with us; we forward the request to the vendor through our own channels.
How we use it
- To fulfill firewood orders you place — including sharing the necessary delivery details with the provider you ordered from.
- To send transactional emails (receipts, delivery updates, password resets) and push notifications you opt into.
- To prevent fraud, debug issues, and comply with legal obligations.
- To improve the Service — aggregate, non-identifying analytics only.
Sharing
We share information only with: (a) the firewood provider you transact with, limited to what they need to deliver your order; (b) Stripe for payment processing; (c) our hosting and email infrastructure providers acting as data processors; (d) law enforcement when required by a valid legal process. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
- You can view and update your profile in the app or web account settings.
- You can request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing privacy@crackleking.com. We will honor verified requests within 30 days, subject to record-keeping obligations for completed orders.
- You can disable push notifications and location access from your device's system settings.
Children
CrackleKing is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be highlighted in-app for active users.
